What Essence claims about the product?

Super Soft and Long-lasting holographic eyeshadow.

My review:

A natural gold or you can say an of-white shade 0.08 oz/2.5g for PKR 250 rupees is a great bargain. It has a great packaging. Unlike Starlight it does not contains noticeable glittery particles, however it does contains a small amount of golden shade. As the name implies it is a holographic shade. I was looking for light golden shade that can be used as an eyeshadow as well as highlighter, I bought this thinking it will work for both.  But unfortunately it will be light enough for using highlighter. However for using an eyeshadow you can use this shade alone for day-time and it will look perfect. If you want a color that can be noticeable then it will not be a good choice. The shade is light enough to apply 3 to 4 times atleast to give the exact lemon shade.

As for application it smooth and buttery in texture.  It applies evenly with no fall outs stays on good for two three hours without a primer

Pros:

• No fall outs 
•  Soft to apply

Cons:

• The shade is so light that it requires two-three application to give the exact shade.

Recommendation

I recommend this for new makeup lovers as they can easily use it for application with no fall outs.

My review:

A pure silver sparkling shade 0.08 oz/2.5g for PKR 250 rupees is a great bargain. It has a great packaging. There are a lot of things to love about Starlight. I am a big fan of glitter so when I saw this shade it catches my eye and I had to buy J It contains perfect amount of micro-glitter that brings it down a notch.  The little glittery bits in this eyeshadow has no fall outs neither  during application or later on during wear. It is rich in color, buttery and smooth in texture.  It applies smoothly, evenly, and stays on a good for four to five hours without fading or creasing.

Pros:

•  No fall outs
• Soft
• Long Lasting
• Perfect amount of glitter 

Cons:

• I did not find any cons and this will be a must-have product is my beauty box.

Recommendation

What LUVIEW claims about Crystal Mineral Pact WITH SPF 25 PA +++?

My review:

It has a great packaging and comes with a soft sponge. The powder/base has embossed LUVIEW on it and the sponge is also packed with red colored strip with LUVIEW tag. However I did not use this sponge for the application because of my extremely oily skin. I normally use sponges that can be used wet for applying pancakes and compact powders. You can use this sponge as it is extremely soft.

It is smooth and plain texture. Its stays comfortably without feeling cakey or does not let your skin feeling dry. Its reduce redness on your skin. You will not feel any burning sensation on your skin. When you apply your skin you will ultimately find your skin glowing.  What I really about this is that it is easy to apply. Just wet the sponge dab it and use it on your face and neck. You don’t have to spend hours to get it fixed. It normally works for 3-4 hours in May summer season of Karachi which is normally 40 to 45 degree centigrade (damn hot!! L).

It contains SPF 25 PA ++. Generally speaking "SPF" stands for “Sun Protection Factor”. The value demonstrates the effectiveness of protection against UV-B, as well as the degree of protection against UV-B when nothing is applied on skin. For example, SPF 25 means that the UV protection product is 25 times more effective on guarding against skin redness from the sun than when nothing is applied on skin. While PA stands for “Protection Grade of UV-A” while PA ++ indicates strong protection efficacies.

So this means we should now have to look for compacts and foundation with higher SPF and PA values to protect our skin.  

Pros:

·         SPF 25 PA++

·         Works well for combination to oily skin.

·         Great packaging.

·         You don’t want to spend hours to dab the puff again and again.

·         You want to have complete coverage.

·         The particular shade matches your complexion

Cons:

·         Does not work alone for an extremely oily skin.

·         You think it is expensive

·         You find its difficult to get it.

·         The particular shade does not match your complexion.

My rating 4/5

I am not giving 5/5 because it is too expensive. But if LUVIEW cut down its price with the same quality and of course quantity :P  this will be my must have product. 

Recommendation

I recommend this for a combination to oily and sensitive skin.

Bottom Line

I got this as a gift from LUVIEW Pakistan FB page in a competition, but my review is 100% honest. I found its price PKR 2000/= on its page.
